With 11 locations across Malta, Dr. Juice is Malta’s leading independent juice bar. With a team of over 200 across their stores, and having recently embedded Lightspeed as their Point of Sale provider, they decided it was time to level up their workforce management, and turned to Nory for help!
THE PROBLEM
The team at Dr. Juice had been using Deputy for their workforce management needs since they opened, however, they found it didn’t always give them the info they needed. With a young team that worked flexible rosters, Kyle Schhmebri, Head of HR at Dr. Juice wanted a solution that was mobile first: giving his team the ability to manage their schedule on the go, swap their shifts and request time off with minimal effort, and crucially, get insight into their earnings all from one place.
This was made tricky by some complex local overtime rules that previously complicated their payroll process. It meant their team couldn’t see what they would earn until they were paid, and made processing payroll a long and tedious process.
THE SOLUTION
The Nory Team worked with Dr. Juice to ensure all local requirements were met. This in itself reduced the time spent on payroll by 90%, and also meant that for the first time ever, team members could clearly see their earnings as they worked – a big help managing their finances!
